Do you do this?

When you give something to somebody do you still saying all the time that you give it to the person? When you do something for somebody do you say all the time for everyone what you did? I know two persons like this. It is so disgusting that I never ask these persons for nothing and never accept nothing from them. But sometimes I can't avoid to heard how many things they give and they do and did. It comes to me because today I meet one these persons. What a shame! if you give well you give so forget it. The same way about what you do. Now I want to know how many persons have the same habit? Do you do the same?

I don't do this but i know a lot of people that do! i think that when you do something for someone or give them something, you do it to make them happy or to help them out, not so that other people congratulate you or talk about how great you are, if you are doing it only so people will think you are nice when you tell them about it then it's kind of selfish and the reasons for being nice in the first place are wrong! xxx

I think it's really selfish to do this, you're right it could be embarrassing for the person to have everyone knowing that they have needed help with something, there is just no need for it. if i help someone out i do it because i want to help them, not because i want them to be really thankful or for other people to know all about it! take care xxx

no, i don't. if i do something for someone it's because i want to ¬ for the glory. i know people like u are talking about but really don't care to be around them.

I don't do this, but I know a couple of people that do. It's very irritating. When they constantly harp about what they did for this or that person. I don't mind telling me something but to keep on about things is a bore.
When I give something to someone. I give it from the heart. That's it enough said.
I don't go around telling people what I did, it's no ones business.

that is annoying, when someone give you something and they don't let you forget it. I don't think I've ever done that. If someone else tells another person that I gave her/him something than okay, but I don't go bragging about what I gave away.

A person who gives things and does things for other people then continually tell everyone how much they have done and given are living their life for all the wrong reasons and should be pitied. We are all put here in this life to live together and be a community and help each other. If we just do that for recognition our lives are indeed shallow. How much more satisfying it is to me to be able to help someone without them knowing who did it. That way they don't have to feel obligated to pay back.

No, I am not that kind of person that if I would give a thing to someone I just forget it and do not want to expect any of the things in returns because if you are expecting those people to give a gift then I guess you have to forget on giving things to them....
