yawning...contagious??

I do. If someone yawns nearby, and i see them, I'm gonna yawn too. Even typing about yawning makes me yawn!

yep!so many people i have come across have said that yawning to be a contagious one.but we can't be without yawning as we have to sleep and that's the only way to express. people are said be of poor memory too if they keep yawning so many times

Oh yes! It is really highly infectious! Contagious is the word to indiacte that it spreads by contact but infectious is the word used to indiacte that it can spread even without contact! thus merely looking at some one who is yawning makes one to yawn! One more thing even if you just think about yawning you will yawn! Just try t! I was reading about yawning other day and I could gathr few interesting facts about it! It is saidthat when we are tired or bored or immidiately after the stress when the body feels that now it is relaxed we tend to yawn and while yawning we are taking extra oxygen intoour lung involuntarily! I haveread that Dogs also can be stimulated by yaawning by Human beings and I personally experienced this on my Dogs! I have got 7 Dogs with me and more or less every one responded me some responded immidiately and some took some time to do so! In animals also they have yawning abut hen there apart from regular yawning some diseases pertaining toliver and some infections make them to yawn frequently! I do sometimes. When I'm walking somewhere or talking to someone and I see someone yawning, I sometimes yawn as well. They did a test on the show Mythbusters to see if it's true that yawning is contagious. I think they found the myth to be plausible. That's quite interesting about the mirror neurons. I've never heard of those. Thanks for sharing!

i think it is cuz i've experienced it more than once in my lifetime. i found it to be pretty funny also but in a weird cool way :)
