I don't know if it's normal or not. But it would probably bother me. Unless I knew for sure that it was a joke or not.

As I don't know your husband it's hard to say,if you ask him if he meant it as a joke you can perhaps gage his reaction to his answer and get your answer that way,It is not something he would normally say or you would not have started this discussion so for your peace of mind ask him. cheers. moonbeam

Well, I personally think that if it was said playfully, then there is no harm in saying it. I mean, if you couldn't joke about stuff like that then maybe you and your partner may need to be closer, as closer relationships allows you to take lightly the things that to strangers are hard to say or accept. But that's just my opinion
