I stood and waved my handkerchief with tears in my eyes

Well today is Saturday, and the day that Mr Ruby has gone on a holiday, not literally but he has gone to stay with our daughter ,son in law and their two children for two or three days. Now this is the first time that he has ever been away to the girls on his own,so I am very pleased that he has spread his wings. But he is on a mission,no not that kind of mission, but a decorating one,the boot of the car has been laden with emulsion paint ,gloss paint, paint rollers and paint brushes. His bib and brace overalls are in the bag too.The mission is to paint their lounge before Santa comes,it is going to be transformed into a veritable palace in Biscuit crunch(that's what the colour chart says)and the paint has a silk finish to it,so it can be wiped ,all those sticky little fingers you understand.I hear you ask, well why did you not go?and I in reply say,a couple of days peace and tranquility, time to get my brain compartmentalised again will be just sheer bliss..But ..there is a but ..I will dearly miss my Mr Ruby.

You have a couple of days of peace then? It is nice to have time apart from each other I always think, it helps me to appreciate people that I love all the more. My hubby and I do not spend any time apart, although with the new job he is training up for we will spend more time apart, but I do not think that is a bad thing at all. Can I just ask you a question? Do I know you? Only your hubbys name looks really familiar!
