Do you feel broken when people say, "You are fit for nothing"?

I almost get angry when my boss or anyone say that i am a worthless person.People who say that must be fit for something to comment anyone like that.I heard it from many others but i leave it if it is just a joke from friends.When a third person pull my nose i will never shove him off.I get broken when my close friends say it seriously with sense.

that's a very ugly thing to say to somone. i guess it would hurt my feelings but it would probablymake me mad to. i would just not be around people who talked to me like that.

Oh, it would definitely hurt me. But, I would always think that people saying this do not or are not worth to be respected. I mean, like in the case of your boss, if he says that in just this particular incident but the rest of your work you are able to deliver the job, then he is not worth to be respected because he ceased to see the things you have done for him.
