do u like reading chefdoeuvre,the great books?

I saw there is no discussion started,so I start. I am not a big fan of these great books but I have read The Red and The Black,Pride and Prejudice,Little Women and so on,cause I need to.I'm an English major,so I have to know the English-speaking countries' culture which I believe can be learned from attentive writers' works. How about you? Do u like great books?
