Wow! I Feel Great Today!

I just checked, out of curiosity, you understand, to see if one of my discussions made it into the "Hot" section today because I've received so many responses to it. Yep, there it is, right in the number one spot!
I can't tell you what an ego boost that is! I'm not bragging about my post, I just wanted to share this awesome feeling with you guys. I've been sick with a cold and probably a sinus infection, also worrying about my wayward son and assorted other things.
I've been down in the dumps, for the most part. I posted a discussion about the internet just because it popped into my head. Little did I know it would be the number one 'hot' discussion of the day!
Whoo hooo! I'm on top of the world! Just goes to show you that if you hang around myLot long enough, sooner or later you're going to be on top of the world, too!
Of course, it means I'll be spending the day responding to my responses, but I don't mind that. I LOVE interacting with everyone here. You guys are better than any drug on the market (or not on the market... lol)!

Thanks, cream! I've found that it only takes one thing to make most people happy and able to tackle their other problems in a much more productive manner.
All of my problems seem so small today and I'm feeling even better than yesterday! Knowing that I have so many wonderful friends here at myLot means so much to me!

Yes I did see that your discussion made it to the top of the #1 discussions today congradulations that's awesome.
You must feel proud I have known you to write some good discussions from what I have seen in the past keep up the good work. I do hope your feeling better soon to it's no fun when your feeling icky.

Thanks, remembering. I feel a lot less icky today and I'm sure it has a lot to do with feeling so good yesterday. Our emotional/mental state has a lot to do with how we feel physically.
I'm still trying to respond to everyone who responded, but it's a slow process. Last night, myLot just wouldn't open for me! I could read the email responses, but not open them to respond back. That set me back a bit but, hopefully, I'll get to everyone's response today.
Thanks again for being a friend and one of the many awesome members here. I adore this place!

Congratulations! I noticed the number of responses to that question and was noticably jealous. That was great! I looked for it on TTD but didn't notice it at the time I looked. That doesn't mean it was never there. These things have a way of disappearing pretty quickly. A couple of mine were like a passing speck of dust. I'm real happy for you. I know what it can do for your ego. The best ones though, that last the longest are the ones with multiple chains of comments given by different Mylotters. Keep up the good work. I'll never surpass that response mark.

Never say never, singout! I didn't think I'd ever have that many responses, let alone within 24 hours! Geesh! One of these days you're going to come up with an idea for a discussion, just something from the top of your head and Whammo! You'll be inundated with responses!
You're a smart cookie and it shows. It's just a matter of time.

Thanks so much, sunnflr! I think that our attitude makes a big difference in the way we feel. Yeah, all these little things crashing down on me have made my fibromyalgia flair something awful!
But I can honestly say that I feel pretty good right now. I'll probably have a splitting headache by tonight, though, from being on the computer so long answering responses! LOL
Now, if I could only take care of my wayward son as easily!

You know what the funny thing is? I wasn't trying to come up with a post to draw in a lot of responses. It was just something that popped into my head because my husband and I were talking about the internet and how important it is to him.
When I saw the responses pouring in, I freaked! LOL
So, when you least expect it, that's when it will happen. I'm sure you'll get there. I never thought I would... ever!
It just felt so good because I've had a lot of stress recently over my son and a few other things. It really helped to take my mind completely off my problems for awhile.

You're right... everyone should have a day like that. I believe that, if you don't give up, you will have that day and, hopefully, a lot more of them.

Great going dear! I am so glad. 100 responses is a real big thing and your discussion deserved that. Being the TOP RATED is a great thing. It happens once in a while. And it would take up whole lot of your time to do justice to all the responses. But don't you worry that's fun as well. And it ever kinda stops!
The best part being that you are happy and refshed. W all want you to be the happiest. Pl be happy, always.

Thank you, mimpi! I'm still reveling in the head-swelling I got yesterday. LOL
I am feeling a bit better today and I'm sure it had something to do with my mental/emotional attitude.
I had no idea that it was the top rated discussion of the day! That's cool... except it's going to take me weeks to respond to all of the responses! LOL I'll get there, though.
At the moment, I've had 122 responses. I never imagined that I'd ever get over 100 to any discussion I've started, let alone get that many in just one day!
It was just a thought that got stuck in my head so I decided to post it. I'm glad I did because it really took my mind off of my problems as well as actually improving my physcial health! A good attitude really helps.
I owe it all to my great myLot family. I'd be lost without you guys!

Hi, Opal. Thank you! I flipped out when I saw those responses pouring in! I thought it would be like some of my other discussions and get 20 or 30 responses. Whew!!!
Yep, I'll be going through those responses for a long time! LOL But I'll enjoy responding to every one of them. It didn't help that last night I couldn't get a single myLot page to open! It set me back some, but I'm getting to them today. Maybe by this time next month, I'll be through all the responses. LOL
Oh, yes, I'm feeling much better today, thanks! Emotional well-being does a lot for our physical well-being. Thanks so much for being a good friend here, Opal! I truly cherish all the friendships I've made in myLot.

Thank you, Chevee. I'm feeling almost super-charged today and ready to tackle any problem head-on. I owe a lot of that to the awesome people here at myLot who've become my friends and extended family.
It's simply amazing what an off-the-wall thing like that discussion can do for one's attitude and emotional state!

Thanks, maroseqf! I've never checked the 'hot' category before, either. It was just out of curiosity because I was receiving so many responses all at once. I was dumbfounded!
It really came at the perfect time, too. I've been stressing over my wayward son's latest escapade and what to do with him, along with a few other things that we all stress about from time to time. This discussion really got my mind off of those problems and it even made me feel physically better!
Yes, the unexpected happens when you least expect it. Well, I guess that's because it's unexpected in the first place! LOL It sure was a surprise to me!

Thank you, eaforeman! I was shocked, to say the least, when I saw the responses pouring in! I had no idea it would be that popular a discussion! It was just something I was thinking about since my husband was telling me how important the internet is for him.
Of course now I have all those responses to get back to! LOL It's slow going, but I'm muddling through. Take care!
