Have you ever looked at your schedule and realized how behind you were?

Today I pulled out my planner book and looked over all the assignments that I have coming up very soon. I realized that I have a lot of things due really, really soon that I haven't begun to work on, let alone even looked at. I have so many things due so soon that I'm not sure how I'm going to get it all done. The prospect of having all of these assignments due soon makes me feel a bit frazzled. I feel like I have too many things to do and not enough time to do it. I just feel like I cannot constantly work on class work and NOT have time for myself to relax and do all the things that I want to do. I feel like I need to find the perfect balance between what needs done and what I want to do so I don't burn myself out but I'm not even sure where to begin. Have you ever looked at your schedule and realized you're in a mess like myself? What do you do to remedy the situation? Do you make yourself a schedule of when to work on things? Do you just tackle projects one by one? Or do you have a different tactic all together?

Hi angel, when I used to work, I don't write the things that i need to do, I will just think about it and work according to the deadline and will prioritize things accordingly but I experienced also running out of time and a lot of overnight work just to cope up with those deadline! I know you can just do that when you will start and for all you know you're finished with all of those!

I don't exactly have mandatory deadlines to meet, but I do make my own up and like to stick to it. But like you sometimes I have more projects going for me that leave me a bit frazzled myself. This is the first time for instance where today I'm getting to my emails, here, and other sites, as a photo request came up from the stock agency that I upload photos for, and was spending a lot of time scanning the photos needed and then touching them up at photoshop..so that took most of my time, I also had important letters to finally rattle out. I'm so behind with mylotting it's not funny. So I hope my friends understand here...I'm particularly way behind in making replies to some of my own discussions. Now...if there was 60 hours in a day... As for how I go about it...well, while I realize I want to get all my projects done within a certain time frame, I tackle them one by one until that one particular one is done then move on to the next project

Yes, I can think about this, without it being written down.. I am behind when I have too many things to do in a single day.. That is when I know that I am weigh behind in schedule..

I have a rule I live by. Take the time to do it right, if you don't have time to do it right, you don't have time to do it over.

I always make to do lists and I'm always adding to them it seems, but I always feel so satisfied, like I've accomplished something when I'm crossing things off that sometimes I just get on a roll and get everything done. At the same time sometimes those to do lists get so overwhelming that you take on look at the long list of things you have to accomplish and just become intimidated and put everything on hold. A good way to look at it is just to try and cross three things off a day. Eventually you'll get everything done and you wont feel overwhelmed if all you have to do is three.
