Have you ever been fired from your job?

Recently someone in the billing department of the hospital I work with was fired for copying the phone number of a patient he thought was attractive..He actually CALLED her! I couldn't believe that because medical records are considered confidential and off limits. He was fired and I could definitely see how this was justified. I once was fired but not for something so off the wall...It was my part time college job and I was tardy much to often after a warning..Again I felt it was justified and one of those lessons you learn early in life.. Have you ever been fired? Did you feel it was justified?
