HAS the InterNET changed the Way YOU Think?

For want of a more general interest category, I've decided to place this question here at mylot. I've come across several writings on the topic, "what does having Google in your pocket do to your retentive abilities" and I'm curious to solicit your insights. Let's start with a trivial scenario as memorizing phone numbers. Do you or don't you have them stored in your cellphones, PDAs, Blackberry or whatever portable gadget which you always have? So is that degrading one's ability to remember a 10-digit number? More so about historical or geographical information, both of which are accessible online at a much greater proportion than one can from one's own memory. Would the logic assume that this 24/7 ability to look up information -- anywhere for a fair number of people with web-enabled phones or Wifi laptops -- impact in the long-term one's desire to remembering things. What role should we have the Net play vis-a-vis our memories? There is no right or wrong answer, I'd just like to know your perception on this...
