When I am depressed, I listen to music i love, watching TV, or go out to play balls with friends, these can meke me forget all the bad things and I can be happy again.

I work in an internet cafe, work work for almost 10 hours and when I'm stressed out, i just stay in my room, listening to mellow music, then i go to sleep, i sleep all day long.

It's the same with me. Now a days even you work hard it's like there is still lacking. Even my free day that I am not on duty with my work I still get tired of thinking of budgeting everything just to ends meet. Every moring when I wake up I still feel tired and my only way just to get my problems out of my mind is to listen to music, or doing mylot, just to ease my nerves and my mind. Have a nice day! God bless!

Well... I am not that busy but life problems made me stressed out lately. I tend to have myself either sleeping, or getting connected to the internet. Trust me, for me now, internet is the best salvation when I was so depressed. Instead of wasting my time doing things that I don't need to do, and wasting money to shop and release my anger, I would rather spend some times to earn some money in the internet. At least for now I am trying to do something productive while releasing myself from the stresses LOL

I know what you mean. I too have a job that can be very stressful (not to mention a somewhat stressful life outside of work!), and it's hard to leave that behind even when away from the office for vacation or over the weekends. I also sometimes feel like I want to sleep non-stop or just stick to things like the internet or watching tv (both things I can do in bed!) One thing I find that helps, however, is to do things that make me feel more energized. Sometimes it can feel exhausting to *think* of expending physical energy, but actually doing it can be exhilirating. For example, I find tennis to be an incredible stress release. There's nothing like pounding on a fuzzy little yellow ball for a few hours to get my mind off things or direct the stressful energy into something else. I also love salsa dancing, and I think music in and of itself is one of the best pleasures in this world! There are times where I just want to hibernate, but forcing myself to do other things that are ultimately uplifting to me can really ease the stress and actually increase my energy and feeling of balance so that I can better cope with both on- and off-the-job challenges. Going out with friends or hiking or doing yoga or roller-blading or working out -- these are all things that I sometimes have to push myself to do, but am always glad after the fact that I did it. But then again, sometimes curling up in my nightgown with a good book by the fire and turning off the phone can sometimes feel like the best way to spend a weekend. :) Oh, and when I'm in a MAJOR stressed out space, I tend to fall back on what is the ultimately de-stressor for me -- a massage!
