Have your kids told that you are the best mom and dad in the world. Have they told that they have got the best parents in the world. Do you think you have been the best mother/father for your children.

Actually just last night my 16 yr old was sitting with me in the living room and said that he was so lucky to have me and his father as his parents. He then went on and asked me if I saw the football player on his team that was crying at the game on Saturday. Saturday was senior recognition and one of the players doesn't live with his parents. He called both his mother and father and told them that it was senior recognition and that he would love it if they came to the game and went on the football feild with him for the recognition. Well, neither of them showed up!! My son just couldn't believe this! Luckily the coach realized this and walked out with the player when he was recognized. My son said, "Mom, if I had known earlier, I would have let him borrow you and dad." I guess little things like this make our children know how we value them.

Well.. not yet. But I know my kids love me very much and I honestly don't know if I am going to be the best mom in the whole world. Because all moms are different and each have their own way of loving and guiding a child. And all children don't get to live with different moms to judge who is the best and who is not . I guess we all get whom we deserve as our parents and in our own way, each of us is the best parent to our own children whether we are/are not for others.

LOL my kids tell me all the time that I'm the best mom in all the world LOL funny thing is alot of their friends and cousins feel the same way.....Do i think i've been the best for htem? Absolutely! Sure things could have been tweaked here and there over the yrs but its all part of parenting ya know....we all make mistakes..what we do after the fact is what counts if that makes sense.

My daughter has. She is 14. We have always had a great relationship. The last 6 months have been shaky. I work alot and I felt us drifting apart. I made some changes about two weeks ago and now we have our relationship back! She told me again yesterday that I am the best mom ever! This melts my heart and at her age! I have not to date ever heard "I hate you". This I know is unusual but I think it would kill me.
