Is straight Aloe good for skin?

I always run out of my expensive face cream and I hate my face feeling tight after I wash it. I thought I'd try putting straight Aloe from my plant on my face every morning to save money. It IS supposed to be good for your skin right? I heard that it helps generate skin cells. I thought it would help prevent wrinkles. Does anyone out there know if what I am doing is ok? It doesnt really give me that moisturizing feeling when it dries though. Maybe I should put a cheap moisturizer on top.

Try mixing it with some Cold cream. or some Vaseline. It couldn't hurt.

Well I would wonder about that because vaseline will clog my pores and not let my skin breath wouldn't it? Maybe vit E would be a little better cuz it actually is a vitamin doing a job ha.

I'm just so sick of spending 50.00 for a tiny little jar of eye cream that lasts for only 20 days. I want to try to use things at home tosave money. I also heard that bananas are great for your skin. It sounds logical cuz they are yellow and so they have vitamin A in them which is great for your skin. I just don't want to smell like a banana all day. I guess I could rub banana on my skin while I am sleeping.

Aloe Vera is a wonder plant but I don't like the feel of straight aloe gel from the plant. I clean my face with a baking soda paste, rinse it off with water, use apple cider vinegar for a toner then put coconut oil on for moisturizer. Try mixing some aloe vera from your plant with a tiny bit of what ever vegetable oil you use for cooking. Most of these oils leave you feeling greasy, so just use a tiny bit. The aloe vera doesn't moisturize your skin, and the moisturizer is what helps prevent wrinkles.
