I have a free domain name registered with blogger.com. I want to change this. I don't want to have a custom domain name. I just want to make an minor change in my existing domain name. Please help me with this. Thanks!

Sorry! If I sound silly. But I can't understand the problem. Would you mind stating more clearly what do you want to do? Preferably with example.

No! You can't do that. You can create a new blog with your desired domain name instead. I do not think Blogger.com allows FTP access.

If I understand the discussion clearly, you want to change your domain name from "How to become a strong woman in life" am I correct? First of all, your domain name is "How to..." and you can change it anytime through setting basic. I did it once one of my blogspot blog - from Where Human and Bloggers Meet to Humane Blogging Tips. Here are my suggestions. Choose a domain name that you think can identify what your blog content is. My blogspot blog has blogging tips. Since you have only one post so far, I suggest you create a new one and transfer it. Use a URL that is more attractive to search engines, related to your blog content, short and easy to remember and NOT confusing to encode. My blogspot blog URL is wherebloggersandhumansmeet.blogspot.com and I hate it. This is one of the biggest mistakes I made. I should have made it humanebloggingtips.blogspot.com but I cannot change it anymore. Although I can create a new one, I have to start all over again, like earning traffic, re-submit to social sites, etc. Good luck!

Okay, thanks.. I think that there has been some kind of mix up here.. I want to change my URL blog address, not the title of my blog.. I was told that once I created an blog URL address, that it cannot be changed in any way.. So, what is the truth here? I just will keep what I have and start all over again with a brand new topic..

Just like I said, it is better to start a new URL. After all, you only have one post and you can easily copy it to a new blog. You cannot change your URL then maintaining all the contents. Again, be smart when you think of your new blog URL. Don't rush, take your time. Don't repeat my mistake. But I suggest you still maintain a free hosting. If you decide to get more serious, then it is the time to spend for hosting. If you will notice, my WP Blog URL is http://fatherblogger.com/ and my blog name is Father Blogger dot Com. My blog topics are family tips and blogging tips. I think that make sense. Good luck!

Yep I got to change mine without even paying. You just have to pick the right name or title because it is case sensitive. But you don't have to pay. Hope you got to change it. Let me know if you are still having trouble changing I will help in any way I can. Take care and you too catfish.

Okay, I hope that I can change my free domain name, instead of buying a paid domain name. If, all else fails, I will have to purchase an domain name with hosting..

You can't change your domain name on Blogger. I've just logged in and tried- and there's no way around it. Once you have picked a domain name on Blogger, it's permanent and can't be changed. This is why that whenever you start on a blog, think long and hard about the name you want in the URL- you'll be stuck with it for a very long time!!

Yes, to my understanding we can change our domain name to a paid one, but just not for the free one.. Once we sign up an domain name, then that is what we will have.. But, we are allowed to apply for an paid domain name, that is how this goes..

So, what you are saying is that I can change my free blog URL address here.. Then, will they provide free hosting? Or do I have to pay for it?

I don't know that you can. Generally, on any website where you get to choose your domain name, it becomes permanent and you can not change it after that. I have not tried on blogger or elsewhere to change mine, so I don't know. But I know most sites they are permanent.
