Would you give someone the best response because she has rated you best?

I seldom give a best response and I don't rate someones response best just because she has given me a best response rating. I always read what is written carefully and choose what response is really the best. I want to be always fair in rating..

Not necessarily. It would not be reasonable to mark someone best response because he chose as best response in one of his discussions. I would still use my standard ways of choosing the best response. I will wait for the proper time to choose the best response, I will compare the responses done by other myLot members and I will see to it that the response is really relevant to the discussion or it answered the question on my discussion. If he chose me for best response, I will easily remember his user name and maybe check his response first before the checking the responses done by other myLotters when I check my discussions.

i rate someone if he or she really deserves it. it's just fair. i dont know how you can find out who rate you but it would be nice to know someone who had given you a rate coz they find it interesting

No, you shouldn't base your decision just on the fact that somebody gave you the best response. That should be awarded to the person who gave the best reply to your discussion either by providing sufficient information or by just providing a good statement of their point of view (although the tendency is that most people will give best response to those who agree with them on an issue, lol). You could of course leave your discussions unresolved (they don't move from that category unless a best response has been awarded). You do get rewarded monetarily for rating other people including marking a response as best response. So it is worth it to resolve a discussion that way. Just FYI.

No, I don't. I based my rating solely on the quality of the response; sensibility, relativity, organization of thoughts, etc. I believe that sometime we have this internal or external distractions that effects our logic. So I based the rating on these rubrics.

No, I won't do it. I give someone a BR base with the answer. If the answer is give a positive effect to me and match with the topic. I will give it the best response. I also want to be fair. Keep post Happy myLotting...

Hi masmasika, I don't do that, I don't give best responses to people that have given me best response rate, I think that until now I didn't have done that. I always read carefully every response and wait a while until I found an answer or comment that really deserves a best response..
