Edge selling his prized guitars for charity.

I know this is old news, but how cool was it that Edge sold his prized white Gibson Les Paul Custom and his Gibson Explorer to fund the Music Rising project?
He has a lot of guitars, but these were from the early days and were used on all of the albums.
