When you take a bath leave the water in the bathtub and then using a pitcher or a big cup , scoop water out when ever you need to flush the toilet and pour that water into the toilet instead of flushing!! The force of the water being poured in makes everything go down. This saves a lot of water and keeps your water bill low. You are not flushing your toilet until the bath water runs out, which can take all day. I do this all of the time. I have noticed a huge difference in my water bill since I started doing this.

This is a great idea! My tub doesn't hold water so I can't do it now. However, I do like the idea and I may try it once I get the tub fixed. I am always looking at ways to cut costs.

Hi , I feel this is a really Nice idea. However;it would not be applicable in our case since we have different water sources for Bathing and Flushing Toilets .

THAT IS SUCH AN AWESOME IDEA... I mean I really love the idea, they have to highly clean the water before its reused anyway :P omg I cant even get over how brilliant that is...I cant wait to put that into use...though I might have to wait until I move out on my own... lol but that is absolutely truly brilliant... I had heard of a device you can use to catch all your sink water and use it to flush your toilet..I could probably do something similar by catching all the water in a bucket and just dump it, ...it would help me, because I wash my hands all the time...
