Any way to make money w/ your own site/blog besides Adsense, etc.?

Aside from the "ad-sharing for profit" sites like Google Adsense, etc. Isn't there another way to make money from having your own site/blog? Like for instance everytime someone clicks the link to your site or to a blog entry on your site, then u get paid and whoever is hosting your site also gets paid? For instance, let's say Wordpress shared profits with their bloggers. Everytime someone clicks any link in your wordpress blog, wordpress gets paid and they pay a percentage of that to you....?
