family update

hi all, on wednesday 22 oct 08, i got a phone call from my dad telling me that my mum is not very well, i knew she was going to have a checkup that day but wasnt expecting that sort of news, she has bowel cancer, she has to see 2 more specialist (one tomorrow) and then one friday to work out treatment plan, which is operation and then radiotheraphy. my husband also has to have an operation on his ear on the 3rd nov, and we were away visiting his specialists when my father rang. so it has been a busy week.. just thought let you all know mel

Oh Melly, sorry to hear about your Mum...I didn't know. When did she find out? Will she be ok? Good luck to your hubby (sounds weird to hear you say "my husband" lol.)when he has his operation. Tell him all the best from me.

hey there, thanks... she found out last wednesday, she will be alright after all the treatment and support from everyone. it sure does feel weird saying my hubby lol... he is having his op on 3rd nov (mon)

Well I reckon that must have come as a bit of a shock to her...wisdh her all the best and I'll say some prayers for her. Will this be your Hubby's () final operation on his ear? I know he has had a couple previously.
