where in India the best monuments are located?

I want to go a tour and i want it to be the best one .Also i am fond of great monuments reaching high peaks .So can you suggest me any place to go.

You can find most of them in Tamil Nadu at the best and ancient monuments

I think in Delhi,Bombay,Kolkata and Hydrabad.All the famous monuments are found here only.
