My mom hates mylot!!What to do?

hello all i told abt this in my previous discussions also but the prob is growing day by day...i mom sometimes don't allow me to sit infront of my pc n do mylotting n other things on the net
,she says "whts the need of doing these all things..go study ,don't waste ur time here"
How to convince my mom so tht she alows me to do mylotting at least for 2 hrs daily?
I love being on mylot as it has become a part of my daily routine...but i think my mom will cut off the net connection if i say sometimg....help needed

As a parent I would say that I would probally prefer that my child spend that much time on their studies too. I am sure that you enjoy mylot but it should be on recreational basis only and not something that you have to do everyday.
Maybe you could voluntarily compromise and cut your time here in half. You will see the evidence of your dedication to studying far longer than here at mylot.

Well, you do need to remember that your Studies are important, and she is your Mom, and you need to make sure and listen to her, or things could get even worse if you don't. The only advice I can offer is somehow learn to find a way to share this site with your Mom, and show her why you enjoy it, and maybe get her interested in wanting to be a member here too. If not, maybe make some kind of bargaining agreement with her, like you will study for 2 hrs. if you can be in myLot for an hr. or offer to do other chores around the house in exchange as well. If you obey your Mom and cooperate with her, she might be more willing to give in with you being here, and then things will not be so bad. Just my thoughts.

I wouldn't tell you anything to go against what your mother has said for you to do.
When you live under your mother roof you have to do what she says. If you can't convince her to let you continue doing MyLot. You will have to just do as she instructed. Good luck.

Unfortunately, if you live with your parents, you have to go by their rules. Sorry, that's my opinion.
