I am off on a short holiday to celebrate the famous festival of lights called Diwali with my mother. It is not too far. She is staying in a city which is some 450 KM away. We will go by train. Being in a transferable job for the past 34 years, i have not being staying at my home town and have never got a chance to celebrate ths festival with my mom in the past 30 years. My mom is thrilled to know that we are coming to celebrate Diwali with her. She is 77 years old and stays all alone. I have asked her to come and stay with us so that we cnalook after her, but she is fond of her independence and more over does not like to leave the house and come. I am just going for 4 days. The festival is on 28th Oct and i will return on 30th Oct. A break from routine is required once in a whle so it will be a good thing. Are any of you taking a break?
