Never thought I'd miss you guys!!!

OK...as wierd as this may seem. I never thought I would miss sitting down at my computer and chatting with a bunch of equally crazy internet addicts. But....This week I have not had anytime to get online and everyday I found myself missing my computer-even more my discussions and on mylot. This is really the first experience that I have had with forums and chatting. I am a stay at home mom, and sometimes it is hard to find the adult *me* time. So here is my question...Do you ever find yourself missing your chatting, discussions, and blogging friends when you have an extended time away from the computer. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have been wondering where you were has I hadn't seen you around mylot, pleased to see you back online and I have experienced exactly what you have described and felt foolish for feeling that way but really it isn't I've made some really good friends online so it's only natural that I should miss catching up with them.

I have learned a lot, and I have networked on some business adventures here. It is pretty nice to do both at one place. I have not seen any other site like this that I have been able to use so easily.

that is funny. I know- I have become an addict. I was trying to figure how to do mylot on my phone. I have a treo and internet access, but the screen is to tiny and too bothersome. isn't it funny how we reach out to other people around the globe and can find good friends. Hopefully I am back for a while. Thank you!!

Deesfamilyvalues there is another site that has missed you too you know, I think you'd be welcomed over there too, I'm with you on the phone bit I last year was without my pc for a few months because I had to save to buy one has I couldn't afford it all in one go and I tried to do it on my phone but it really wasn't the same, I'm pleased your back.

it is very addictive- especially if this is your outlet to real sane and insane dialog.
I was wondering how you are feeling? Are you doing better?
I told you about my friend with MS, she is having a flare up right now. She has lost the vision in her left eye. They are pretty confident that she will regain it after a few more courses of streiods and interferon.
Hope you are doing well. I am tyring to figure a way to take you guys on my vacation...

Yeah I am doing pretty well. After I had my steriod pack I got to feeling better thanks for asking. I am sorry your friend with ms lost their vision in one eye. I haven't done that yet this year but it seems like at least once a year I do that. I hope your friend gets well soon.

Thanks- i notice when she is really stressed out she flares up. She was her healthiest when she was pregnant. Isn't that wierd. Stay healthy!!

I know that I miss whenever I am away for a time. Here lately I have been doing a home online business that has taken my normal free time. Even though it has been QUITE worth it, I still miss my Mylot friends. I don't get to post all the discussions I want, but I try to take the time to answer a few.
It is good to have you here. I commend you on being a stay at home mom. Most people do not realize how difficult that Job title can be. I know for a fact, that your job is Much more difficult than mine.

Yes, I totally understand how addictive myLot can be. When I realized I was going to be in a place where I had no computer access, I went out & bought a laptop so I could get online whenever possible. I keep it in my car so it is ALWAYS accessible!!! The wireless connection costs $60/mo which is MORE than I'm earning here, but well worth it to be with my friends!!!

But I understand that. I think it's kinda
fun to meet everyone and forge these cyber
bonds. You'll just have to spend more time
on mylot to pay for the laptop. :-)

I was of line this morning as I had to sell my car. (credit cruch) The guy in the car showroom was slow and kept me waiting for thirty minutes. I was so agitated. I was begging him inside to hurry up. All I could think about was, 'I am missing a discussion' 'I will have to catch up chatting'. I was not even thinking about the loss of earning either.
I was only gone about two hours and I ran into the house and logged in. I did not even take my coat off. I think I must be addicted to MyLot and other things on here, and I would not know what to do without the internet.

Yes, there are many times I am so busy that I do not get time to be here in myLot, and find myself missing being here. I have met so many wonderful people here, and learned so much that this is a great place to come anytime I really need to clear my mind as well. This site for me is one of the best places a person can be, and one thing for sure you can never not find something in here to chat about as well.

i also will miss the discussions and some of my friends here if i had not login into this site for a few days... i think this site is quite addictive to me and i have to visit it everyday... i didn't visit this place at all yesterday and i quite miss it now... take care and have a nice day...

I do not stay home all the time. I have more than one part time job, but I do seriously miss myLot and all my other internet sites that I visit regularly. I have felt that way about MyLot ever since I joined. I like to travel, but I do feel like I miss the communication if I cannot log on daily.

I really think it is a nice place to find friends and really learn things and offer help to other people. Once we figure out that the computer is actually always going to be in our life, then finding the best use for it is the next thing to do. I think I finally found it. Thank you-here's a toast to all of us mylot addicts.

Hi, deeesfamilyvalues.
I completely understand. I miss myLot when I have been away for a while. I don't even do very much 'chatting' while I am here. I just miss reading responses that my friends have written and seeing what everyone has been up to.

I find somethe rresponses to posts to be really fascinating. I think it's a great way to people watch. I love catching up too. I just turn on the boob tube and read away.

We were so busy last week, I couldn't even see straight!
Now, I have to get back into a mylotting routine. :-) I think I will put a scarf on the door and not give entry to anyone that doesn;t have food. coffee anyone??
