They sure are making Laura a laughing stock, aren't they?

I mean, come on. SHe is in this non-returnable coma for years. A little drug lets her come out of it for a few days few years ago, but now, she apparently can come out of it whenever she wants to? She seems to "come out of it" when one of her children are facing lethal injection, but can't come out of it and be there to try to help them not trash their lives - or hey, just to raise them - what a novel idea that would be! Fridays episode, her limp and barly existing body, literally jumps out of that rocking chair, her speech is impecable and she just shots out "leave my daughter alone you SOB!" ANd then just starts talking to Scotty like they have been in conversation all this time!!! NO time lapse periods or anything, just picking up where they left off. I like scotty but I hope he takes her off to places unknown and we never have to hear from her again!!!!

I agree. It's ridiculous, and not in the funny kind of soap opera way. Just annoying! She either needs to come back long enough for a useful story or just shouldn't be on the show at all.

Yeah. Now Spenillie is "soap opera funny", but Laura...just annoying. I heard a clip today I think is was that Luke and Laura meet "for the last time"...so hopefully one of the writers have been here on MyLot and have heard our pain!!!!

IN a way I am at least glad Scotty finally gets what he has worked his whole life for - Laura. Sad that that is his only goal in life, but hey, this is soap world! I have always liked Scotty - poor guy, just trying to get up there with the rest of the town! But FINALLY a happy ending for at least one person in PC!! However, now that she has "recooped" from her "non-recooping" catatonic illness, only means we will be sujected to her more often probably - I mean how many times can the bring her back for catatonia and the viewers still stomach it! This way they can just have her fly into town on her broom of self righteous perfection, have her way and fly right on back out again!!! I think the writers should be more "faithful" to the viewers that keep the show on the air than accomodating an actor/ress that wants it both ways! Luke and Laura had their time to shine... I have not heard to many care to much for the couple now yet they continue to plague us with them!!!!!

I totally agree I hate that they bring her back then dump her in the institution that is sloppy writing. I did hear that she and scott will exit together at the end of this month and I shake my head wondering why the writers couldn't have come up with something good for her and to also correct Scottys character as well.

I agree!!! I think that what they are doing to Lauras character sucks. Either bring her back or take her off but PICK ONE!!! I know that people want to see Laura but are you kidding me?? This is just sad. Its just like when they bring Michael back he will know every thing even though in a coma for that long. I said it before and I'll say it again - as much as its "life" its not!

And today's - good grief, is herself all she ever thinks about? Yeah, she tosses in the kids, but all she's done yet is berating scotty for all he's done - just cause he loved her so much? I wonder why he never mentioned that she and Luke are divorced - Laura doesn't know it! The love of her life has divorced her and married someone else- yet here scotty is... heart in hand as usual....
