what if (i repeat again this is a WHAT IF discussion) you got sick and was addmited at a hospital... would you like Dr. Gregory House to be your doctor? i myself is taking second thoughts about this. lol. if you are sick we expect people around us who will take care and be kind and good to us for we dont feel good. having Dr. House around (although he is a good doctor), makes patient lose their hopes lol. he is sarcastic that makes people feel offended of his frankness. so would you like to have Dr. House to be your doctor or you would rather watch him on tv.

I love to watch him on tv. I find that the show is interesting and is humorous. I think that I would also like to have him as my doctor. I think that he is a brilliant doctor and always seems to find the answer to the problem. I think that he does not have the best way of interracting with the patient. I think that I would prefer him to cure my condition rather than say niceties and this is why I would be happy with him as my doctor.

Okay, it is true that Dr. Gregory House isn't the nicest of doctors there is. But when it comes to medicine, from what is say, he's the best doctor there is. So, I'd kind of have to say that I would like him as my doctor, if he were a real doctor. I'd feel like I was in good hands.

good point you have there too dodo. but sometimes he does not really show at once to the patient. he let his group talk the patient. he only checks the patient if they can no longer find what is the problem of the patient. Dr. house has a very observative eye and nothing escapes when he is observing the patient. thanks for the response

It is true that it is the team, who present themselves first to the patient. But House is the person, who makes the decisions or approves the decisions, at any rate.

It would depend on the situation whether or not I would want him as my Dcotor. There are many times when you have Doctors who seem nice who never really worry about the patient either, and try to rush you out of there and usually give you diagnosis or ideas that are not the best. At least with Doctor House he will tell people like it is, and to me that is a better doctor for sure.

thanks for the response and view. yes you are correct. i would like to have a doctor who is sure on what he is doing. and carefully think first before diagnosing the patient. he is a better doctor for sure. have a nice day to you and your family

I do not know who Dr. House is...i haven't watched any episodes of the series... but i sure wouldn't want him to be my doctor... doctors should have this nice bedside manner... to make the patients feel a lot better... and for those who are seriously sick... to give them hope that they will be better in the near future... so i don't think i want him as my doctor... i will just go to another one...

that is one of the reason why i said that if ever Dr, house will be my doctor i want a doctor who will tell me the truth of my condition but still has this soft manner and a good approach. being sick is not a nice feeling so if a doctor is a sarcastic one it might add up to the not so nice feeling. thanks for the response

well it doesnt matter to me if he is the most sarcastic doctor as long as he is good and he can treat my illness. aside from the fact that he is handsome.. uhmm. i think i preferred him as my husband not a doctor. lol

sorry for the late comment. your point of view is true no matter how sarcastic a doctor is as long as he can treat your illness. i dont think Dr. House is the marrying type lol. thanks for the response and have a nice day ahead to you and your family

i myself is a grouchy person. so getting doctor house to be my doctor may be not a good idea. i can say that i will get dr house as long as dr foreman is the one who will always communicate with me. i think doctor house does not know how to use proper words (har har har) but he is a great doctor.

lol yes a grouchy person like you is hard to be with a grouchy doctor, you will end up stressed and expired than feeling well. lol. dont worry doctor house only speaks with his patient when the team can no longer realize what is wrong. foreman and the rest of the group will be the one communicating with you

I would actually like for House to be my doctor, despite his attitude. He isn't optimistic and doesn't give patients the best of hopes, but at the same time, he is good, and I have only seen like once when he wasn't able to cure the patient. I think he has the best experience to take care of whatever would be wrong with me if I was admitted to the hospital. I also like to think that I could cut him down to size in his talking, because I am pretty quick with my tongue as well lol!

I can't just leave House's disposition at not giving patients high hopes lol. Sometimes he is a downright azz, to everyone. Just to get what he wants. But kinda sorta he has the leeway to talk to people the way he does, because nine times out of ten, he gets the job done!!! But I would like to have words with him, just for the fun of it. That would be a very interesting tete-a-tete to witness, with my wit matched against his lol.

sure..he may be lacking in bedside manner, but he really doesn't beat around the bush when giving you an opinion of something, unlike some doctors today that don't really even tell you why they're doing something.

your views.... i agree. yes he lacks of bedside manner but he is straight to the point. some doctors dont want to release you on the hospital but still does not know what is wrong with the patient. thanks for the response scarlet have a blessed day ahead
