Do you think Karma is objetive or subjective?

lets say you feel a certain way about something. but you ignored it. not because you take things for granted.but because its not really what you want. when what you really want is something that you don't have do you think karma will give me what i want (which i strived to get)and punish me for what i didn't want?(which logic and heart says theres more important things)
