A California woman refuses to let the bank foreclose on her home by resorting to extraordinary means. Do you know someone who would do this? This is one determined lady! http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/10/28/ca.woman.chain.cnn

I see the police coming with bolt cutters and arresting her. It sucks that she has lost her home after 19 years but she works for a company that is supposed to help people prevent foreclosure. How did they miss one of their own employees? ARM's are bad! How could anyone ever think it would be a good idea to allow their mortgage payments to change?!? So yes I agree it sucks that this is happening to her but I doubt she is going to be successful in staying.

I have not seen this in person just on television shows and movies but nothing like this in real life. I truly hope that her heroism is rewarded and that she is helped even if it is just people helping with donations to help her keep her home. We are losing so much nowdays due to money problems and crashing markets I am glad she has the guts to stand up to these people and show them she is not backing down. I think they should give her more time and others because of the way the economic has been descending into recession this year. It is hitting large companies yeah, but it is hitting us small folk even harder. We don't have anyone that wants to help us out of trouble so we must help each other if we can. I hope someone sets up a fund for this lady and that people can find it in their hearts to donate what little they can to help out. I believe when you help someone it comes back to you tenfold more.

You always read about people chaining themselves to trees to stop them being cut down but this is the first example I have seen like this! I personally do not know anyone that I think would resort to these measures but I feel for her obvious distress over the matter. I wonder if this will become the start of many similar practices by others now?

That hurts me to see that because it almost happen to me. I do not know if I would chain myself to the porch. I wonder how this will end? She and her family is definitely in my prayers.
