Well...there are many. I can't name just one. So here are a few: Jesus Christ because he is the Son of God. I would like to see first hand the impact he had on people's lives back then. To meet him face to face would be like meeting God face to face - Alexander The Great because he is considered by many throughout history to be the greatest military mind who ever lived - George Washington because he was the first American president and it would be interesting to see the life he lived and to watch him deal with the many dilemmas he faced during his time in office - Adolf Hitler; I'm not sure I would want to meet him face to face but I would like to witness the charisma and power he had over the masses when he spoke. He is by far the most evil individual that modern history has ever seen.

This is a very good discussion and I have never really given that much thought to who in history I would like to meet, but it would be awesome to be able to go back in time and meet someone who played a role in history, and there are a couple of people who come to mind that I would want to meet in history, one of those is President Abraham Lincoln I would love to meet him and ask him what he was thinking during the Civil War and how he managed to beat the south, another person I would love to meet is Thomas Edison because I would love to ask him what gave him the idea to invent the light bulb which was a very useful invention and is very important in every day life.

I would love to meet the Grandmaster of the Knights of Malta jean Parisot de La Vallette. He was a great tactician and motivator. I think that today's politicians could have learned a lot from him. I think he would be puzzled seeing Malta invaded by other nationalities. He would call for another siege of Malta for sure. © ronaldinu 2008

Hi Cher, For me I would like to have met Jesus and perhaps been around him before the events that led up to his Cruxifiction and witnessed His many miracles for myself although I believe and have Him in my heart I would have loved to have been a follower then. Huggles. Ellie :D
