My One a Day Womens vitamins expired in May 2008 and there is like 15-20 left... Can I still take them? Will anything happen to me? Will they still work the same way as if they weren't expired? I'd hate to throw them out, but I dont want anything to happen to me, so I will if I have to. Thanks!

Don't take ANY expired medicines or vitamins. Expiration dates are meant to help us in so many ways. I guess, vitamins won't kill you if you take that but you'll suffer "hyper acidity or something" when you take those expired vitamins.

I don;t think you should take them,Vitamins are easy to be expired, and it even like our food, therefore ,even if it is a pity,we should think of our health,so please throw it.

I am not sure about it but according to some friends in the medical profession, there is this short allowable time or extension on expiration dates. I have had stuffs like those you mentioned and in the same condition so I consulted them. I never took them anyway.

According to my little knowledge, you can still take the expired pills for a period of 3 months after they expired, meaning you can use the only after 3 months of their expiration and after that you should just through them away, and in your case they have been expired for 5 months and i think you should not take them anymore as they are unsafe, you might catch another sickeness just because you took the expired stuff
