do u drink?

I do drink, but not to get drunk or smashed or whatever. I think the occasional drink is just fine, but that getting drunk is over the line and way of showing you don't have much self control. I know the american standard age for drinking is pretty high compared to other countries, and we also have more drinking issues then other countries, probably because unlike other societies its pressed into us from a young age drinking is bad, illegal, blah, and teens hit that age and they want to rebel so they do it to the extreme to show off. I know in Canada the legal age is 19 compared to our 21, and other countries its even younger.

Hi babyorchid. Yep, I do drink. My father taught me drinking back when I was young. Just like you what you posted, he said that it's a way of social communication for people of the right age to drink. Now that I'm of legal age, my dad is usually my drinking buddy. This has helped strengthen our family ties.
