"Everything's gonna crash and break."

This line comes from Skillet's song, Savior. It makes me think. Even before I heard it, I thought about just how bad this world is getting. It's falling apart. I am a senior in high school, and from my 3 years so far, I've seen and heard more pure evil spilling from the mouths of students than I ever thought possible. Everything is crashing and breaking, and today's youth will not know how to handle themselves when their time comes. Since this is supposed to be a discussion, I'll open the forum now. Discuss.

I have heard a lot of bad things this week, from dogs getting hung to Fathers killing babies. I do not know what is going on in this world at the moment. Maybe it is the television, where would people see or hear of such things. Is it corrupting the young. The thing is also the younger ones seem to find these things funny. It is really all getting out of control. I think more discipline is needed, probably by parents. Educating right and wrong is not a School matter it is the parents responsabilty. Yeah maybe it is Gods time to come to this world and sort it all out.

God will not interfere in such a way. When the time comes, this world will be ended. Before that happens, it is only going to get worse. Much worse. This is what I believe, though at times I find it hard to comprehend. 5-10 years ago, when I was in elementary school, I didn't see and hear the things I see and hear in elementary schools today. As for the incidents you've described, I have no doubts about what causes these things to happen. However, I'll stop my discussion of that topic here, for now.

Very deep thoughts. I haven't heard this song just yet. Think I should look it up. I remember being in high school and feeling complete anguish over the evil and pain around me. Good thoughts. One person can make a difference.

Very true, one person can make a difference. Too bad I'm not up to the task. Best I can do is stuff like this, where I know my voice will at least be heard, and my ideas pondered. Thanks.
