Have you ever decided not to invite a family member to christmas because they have done you wrong? I mean seriously wrong? My husband has decided not to have his brother out for christmas because he has done some wrong things to us. Now I know that this is bothersome to my mother in law. Have you ever been through this? I would like to hear your stories about this.

We exlude my husbands sister (his choice as well as mine) from any events we will be hosting. We also don't invite the extended family that we are not close to. We send them all(except sister) a card but do not extend invitations. And we don't recieve invitations from them and we are all ok with it. My mother in law is distraut by the feud between my husbands sister and him and I but we just stand our ground and say absolutely not. I feel for you because these kind of family situations (drama I call it) are uncomfortable, but sometimes something that can't be avoided.
