The Phillies Win the World Series! / myLot

What do you think about the Phillies' new title as the 2008 World Series champions? Was it expected? Did you want another team to win instead?

Well personally, I was quite happy when the Phillies won, and that was the team I was rooting for. Since they have Jamie Moyer as a pitcher, and he is a favorite from here in Seattle, most of us here were rooting for them, and glad to see him get a ring. I would have also Loved to been in Philadelphia when they won to help Celebrate in this as well.

I am a huge Phillies fan as I think you know and was so excited and happy. I could not sleep for days after they won since it had been a long time since any Philly team won a championship. It was an exciting playoffs and World Series and hope they do this again next year. Jamie Moyer certainly deserved to win a championship and in his hometown has to be even more exciting. There was tons of people at the parade.
