I devote at least an hour everyday to worship God. Do you do the same? What is your favorite praise song? I listen to Hillsong and I love their songs.

i really love this song called "Gethsemane" by Bob Fitts. i wish i could find the lyrics off the net, but i've tried and could not get any results. if any of you ever come across it, please inform me. The song is written from Jesus' perspective. What he felt on the road to Gethsemane. The pain he was going through, knowing that God the Father would have to forsake him on the cross, but yet Jesus chose to go through with it because of love. It's a really beautiful song. Definitely my all-time favourite

I also like listening to praise and worship songs. Hillsong is included on my play list along with the good, classic old worship songs. There are many ways to worship God. Sometime, I also use love song to praise Him. I never thought that many songs can be sung to the Lord as long as we meant it. There are also times when I am amazed to the things around me. For example when it was my first time to ride an airplane and saw the clouds aligned with the airplane I'm riding in. I can't stop praising God for that wonderful creation. Many different things on earth are just enough to say that there is God. Some of the not-really-meant-for-worship songs that I also sing to the Lord follows: How did you know by Gary V., Best in me by Blue, When I met you by APO, etc.

Worshipping God is not just singing songs but it is a great way to grow closer to God. HAving a devoted with Him is what makes our relationship intimate and grow like Him everyday. I especially like Hillsong's songs but there are other artists that I try to listent to from time to time. I bought their Hope album which is really amazing but right now I am listening to other artists and I like The Heart of Worship. God bless!

I try to give an hour everyday as well- doesn't always work when the kids are running around! I turn on Christian music all the time- it always lifts me up. My girls love it so I play it as often as I can to fill their hearts as well. I love Hillsong and I also love Michael W. Smith.

My favorite praise artist is Chris Tomlin. I saw him in concert once and you can really tell that he has such a heart for worshiping God. My favorite worship song of all time is his song How Great is Our God. It think it does such a great job of describing how wonderful God is, and every time I sing it, it brings tears to my eyes. I really recommend giving it a listen if you haven't heard it.

I love to listen to Worship sings as well. I have so many favourites that if I begin to listen them it will take days but since of lately you will be hearing my humming this sing which I don't know the singer "You Raise Me Up". The chorus verse goes like this You Rise me up so that I can stand on Mountains, you raise me up to walk on stormy seas, I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raise me up to be all I can be. I used this song to motivate me. This morning I came to MYLOT to see that my star has reach its lowest and two of my discussion pulled. But I noticed that in times like these you just hum something worthwhile to overcome the disappointment.

I listen to Christian songs all the time. I think as a Christian it is our natural tendency to prefer listening to Christian music than secular ones. I love Christians music. I love the traditional hymns especially those written by my favorite Fanny Crosby. One ultimate favorite of mine is "Amazing Grace" written by Newton. But I also love a lot of contemporary Christian music like those by Steve Green, Sandi Patti, Scott Wesley Brown and others. One of my favorites is a very meaningful song sung by Steve Green: Embrace the cross... I am crucified with Christ Therefore I no longer live Jesus Christ now lives in me (Repeat twice) Embrace the cross Where Jesus suffered Though it will cost All you claim as yours Your sacrifice will seem small Beside the treasure Eternity can't measure What Jesus holds in store Embrace the love The cross requires Cling to the one Whose heart knew every pain Receive from Jesus Fountains of compassion Only He can fashion Your heart to move as His Oh, wondrous cross our desires rest in you Lord Jesus make us bolder To face with courage the shame and disgrace You bore upon Your shoulder Embrace the life That comes from dying Come trace the steps The Savior walked for you An empty tomb Concludes Golgotha's sorrow Endure then till tomorrow Your cross of suffering Embrace the cross Embrace the cross The cross of Jesus
