I started to volunteer at my local RSPCA at the begining of thisyear and went a few days a week as I was unemployed, I tried to go once a week when I got a full time job, but this wasnt always possible. Since recently becoming unemployed again I have been going back and love it so much, It's just unfortunate that it costs me £4.50 a day in travelling and I have no income so am only really able to go once a week. But when I am there I love it, I love the interaction with all of the animals, I love learning of the process of how they get brought in and adopted. and I love the way that they are treated there also. Does any one else Volunteer with RSPCA.. or somewhere else with Animals, What do you think about it? Personally I want to take all the animals home with me after each time. hehe. Rach. xx

Our daughter got into being a volunteer at the RSPCA when we went to get our first cat from there, she decided to pick up a form and fill it in while we were adopting our first cat. She spend a good few months going twice a week until her college work got too heavy. She had a really good time there.

I'm glad to hear that she had a really good time. What sort of course was she doing? Did she like the course? I was considering going back to college to do some sort of animal care course but when I started to volunteer at RSPCA i found that I didn't really feel the need to as I was doing all I wanted to and learning all I could while working there.
