I loved the movie the shining staring jack nicholson, Iv seen a remake of the shining but nothing beats the original version, and one of the creepiest things about the movie is the fact that the family was in that huge hotel all alone in the middle of winter and the fact that if somthing were to happen there would be know way to get help, the thought of that is just creepy.

i love this movie too. it's different kind of horror movie and for me that thing about being alone in a hotel in the middle of winter is the creepiest about the movie. this is a classic movie..i would love to be able to see it again!
