Christians: Do the Christian Fundamentalists Speak for You?

Why don't more Christians speak out against the likes of Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and others who've hijacked the US government for their own millenialist machinations? Do they want the world to end as well?

I think in my own way, sometimes I agree sometimes I don't with them. I don't agree with you that they have hijacked the government.

I guess to me, my Christianity is a personal thing. These guys are as real as aspertame. I think the lack of speaking out is because the followers of these guys get real defensive about everything, and a minority of people going up against that, basically, is beating your head up against the wall. Mine is numb at this point.
