Do you celebrate Samhain or Halloween?

To be very frank, I'm a very lazy neo-pagan. I dun often celebrate sabbats and only pay attention to Imbolc due to my believes. Living in Southeast Asia, Halloween is not celebrated here, well, at less only the merchants 'celebrate' it. Do you celebrate Samhain or Halloween? Do you ignore it and hole up somewhere? Or are you one of those crazy old folk who lace the candies with razor blades that I hear about?

I'm not a "Sabbat" kind of gal but more of an observer of the changing seasons etc HOWEVER Samhain is a very important 48 hrs for me and has been since my son passed away...BUT this yr was a total botch and I'm NOT happy about it in the slightest...

I don't actually celebrate Samhain or halloween since I am a Catholic. However, my people celebrate All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day or what we call in our local language 'Undas'. It is one of the major things that we look forward to and go all the way in celebrating.

NO no.. I dun celebrate halloween.. I find it abit ridiculous but fun at the same time.. lol =D Ridiculous because one has got to spend money on the costume which can only be worn once in a yr, and also, we won't be able to wear the same outfit next yr, unless we are celebrating with different groups of ple.. lol =D But fun, because it's a competition of whom is the most ugliest or scariest of all, unlike most party, wherevy the most pretty one will stand out.. lol =D

We kind of celebrate Halloween, but only in our own special way as my daughter's too young to go trick or treating. We give out chocolate to the trick or treaters who knock on the door, and tomorrow we're going to have some Halloween treats to get into the spirit of things, and I'll probably let her dress up around the house. Woo, razor blades in the candy is just nasty!
