The color of the star

I've noticed that the stars have different colors. What does the color mean? I know that the star symbolizes the rating and that you don't get a star till you reach 100 posts, but I can't figure out why the stars have different colors (?)

The more you are rated on myLot, the more that star goes up.. When you are rated many times as a minus, it goes down.. It is your reputation here at myLot.

The colors tell you and everybody else your standing in the community. Members rate you and your discussion and this gets reflected in your stars. The highest rating is 10 on a blue star. Cheers!!

Thanks for responding. So 10 on a blue star is the highest then. I couldn't figure out why the stars have different colors.

Hi Porcospino, I think there is no any special meaning for the color of the stars.It is just to understand our rating easily. Have a nice day friend...

hello friend,the star color stands for the reputation levels we get on mylot.different star colour mean different reputation levels.and you can check how high reputation the member is by just moving our mouse on the star we get. thus, it will indicate a number to express our reputation level..of course, the best one is blue color with 10.0 reputation.then, the read color, yellow coor,etc.i think you wil know it clearly in the future posting. happy mylotting.
