Sonny is gone - why'd the actor want out?

Well, today they had Karpof tie Sonny up, and drag him to the docks and chained him to weights, stabbed him and threw him off the docks into the ocean....they showed him down there with the bubbles and then just his face...ala Jack in Titanic. Okay, rather gruesome, but now we know Sonny is gone - at least for awhile - and since they won't find a body, that just means the character is not going to stay dead However... anyone know why the actor didn't want to renew his contract? That is the rumor that he wanted out... I assume that is why they killed the character, but he's been there for like 15 years... anyone have the skuttlebutt as to the story behind the story? And of course since no one knows he was nabbed, and he doesn't check in with anyone, it will be days before they even know he is missing and they won't find the body - so of course Sonny will return in years to come!

Oh my gosh. Looks like I missed a lot. I haven't been able to watch the show every day anymore since we have become more busy with our business. I used to watch it every day but now I am lucky if I get to watch it once a week. So this week I didn't get to watch it at all, and I see I missed a lot. I think that they should have just replaced the actor instead of killing him off. Without Sonny the show won't be the same. I will have to make an effort to try to watch it more, maybe tomorrow I can. I don't have a VCR to tape it anymore and I don't know how to tape it onto DVD. Maybe I will have to ask my daughter to show me how, if it is possible to do, I don't know. Alrighty then, talk to you later, your friend Chris.

I thought I would be able to watch it this past week but I had company from out of town so I didn't get to watch it. He is gone now so next week I hope to be able to watch it. Thanks for the update.
