Ok, last month I started losing different things on my computer, like my mouse and then from time to time, my keyboard. So, I went out and bought an external, backed up my major files that I CAN'T lose, like over 7,000 photos! But now I would like to take my system down to a fresh system, but I don't have any disks, it did come with any. I am running Windows XP and I have had this computer a couple of years only. I ONLY have 17% memory left on my C drive. So, how do I start my computer all over again? I can't do a restore past Sept. of this year! I am frustrated and I can't afford to buy a new computer either. Can Someone PLEASE help me? Thanks in advance and I can't wait to hear from SOMEONE on this issue.

Well, you could go out and buy a Windows XP CD and then reformat by yourself. Make sure you backup your important files before you do.

try to uninstall all your unused programs, and clear you TEMP folders. those are where unnecessary files consume most of your disk space.

Whatever ways I looked at it, you would need a CD drive to start with. I don't know whether your pc has one or not. If not, I advise you to get one in the market. They are so cheap nowdays. Now, you need a Windows XP disc. Maybe you can borrow one from your friend as well. I would like to lend mine to you but we stay too far apart. I think I also cannot transfer it to you as there are so many files in the disc. Have you thought of buying one?
