Is it true that chocolats are fattening i lvoe chocloates and do not mind eating it all day long. i bought a carton of chocolates and kept it in the fridge. i todl m y children we will open only one chocolate and divide it into 4 and all of us will have one share every day after lunch. it was very difficult for the poor kids to resist, but I was very strict about it. All would wait for lunch and wait for teh daily chocolate to be taken out and broken into 4 pieces and distributed. it was a ritual everyone enjoyed. When the chocolates were over, everyoen felt bad. WhenI told my kids that i will get another carton, they flatly refused. they said they willnot wait fo lunch and will not stick to one piece. They said they would eat when they wanted and as much as they liked. The carton of 20 chocolates lasted only 4 days. If we eat so much chocolates, what will happen? We will bloat?

Chocolates contain fat and sugar but eaten moderation they are fine. You can eat a certain amount of calories and fat every day without making yourself fat. It is all based on how active you are. If you are concerned you can find health sites that tell you what you can eat base on your level of activity. For example I am ill and not able to move much, to avoid getting fat I would have to starve myself or try and move more so I try and exercise a bit more. 20 chocolates over 4 days is only 5 a day and how many people ate them? A chocolate might be worth 100 calories each and an active man can eat 2500 in a day.

I agree with you. But I still eat chocolate. I just can't help it! It's good! ;)

Unfortunately, I think you will bloat if you eat chocolate every day, at least if you stick with your old eating habits and don't substitute something else. If you want to eat some chocolate that's good for you than eat dark chocolate, it has many antioxidants, but I know it doesn't taste as good as milk chocolate.

Of course chocolates are fattening. Even dark chocolates are fattening, but contains less fat than milk chocolates and white chocolates. I used to eat chocolates every day because they make me happy. But now I realized that I'm super addicted to chocolates so I've made an effort to stop. I won't eat any this November, hopefully I can do it!

i know that chocolates are fattening because they contain oil and sugar :) i, on the other hand, can't give you premise numbers as to how many calories a bar or whatsoever. if you fear gaining weight due to eating chocolates then tone down. try to lessen your sweets :)
