We live across from a beautiful horse farm and they have just sold them all, they are retiring . I am going to miss them so much, especially the colts in spring. Any ideas on how ai can get my horse fix?

You could volunteer to "muck out" some stables nearby! That might end the yearning!haha Actually, I'm sorry to hear about this. It's sounds kinda sad Maybe you could visit a friend who has horses once in awhile and ask for a ride.

I get all the muck out I want with the Llamas, guess I'll have to get a vido and play it once in a while. Thanks for your response

17 right now. We do rescue so that number goes up and down. They are wonderful animals and easy to keep compared with horses. It's Llamas

I just found this discussion. I am wondering, could we have an update please. How are you getting on? Have all of the horses moved to pastures new? Are you getting a horse fix somehow? My daughter and I go horse-riding sometimes but are not able to have one of our own. I love to hear horse tales from other people for my 'fix'. Thanks.

Update, All are gone except 3 who don't look ready to foal anytime soon, I'll just have to make do with cows and their calf this spring. Thanks for asking. Happy New year

Maybe you could visit a stable where they rent the horses for rides. You wouldn't have to rent one. Just pet them and look at them for a while. I love horses but don't own my own. A friend of mine has some and sometimes I ride with her.
