Is it difficult to get your children up in the morning. Do you have any special way to get them up.

You know, I have tried with my eldest son for 16 yrs different techniques to wake him up so he would not be such a grumpy butt. But nothing has worked. But my other kids....my 2nd child gets up on her own and if I over sleep, she is the sweety that comes in and wake me up. :) Kord I just have to keep telling him to get out of bed. Once he is on his feet and they start moving, he will not go bed to bed. The key with him is though, I can not walk out of the room until he is OUT of bed and moving. Or he will lay right back down. Zackery, I have to roll him out of the burrito he has made himself into. Once he is out of it, he will crawl out of bed. Willow is a early bird, she will wake upjust before it is time to get up. Mikayla, I pull out of bed and grab her hands raising them in the air telling her to stretch and reach for the stars. Once she stretches, she is fine too. The last one to wake, my baby Noah...he is 5. All have to stand him on the bed and talk to him. I will ask him every morning if he want cereal or toast. He is hungry when he first wakes up. So it gets his wheels turning. By the time I get him to answer, I know he is awake. Sorry the post is so long...I have 7 kids. LOL

We generally don't have to wake our daughter up. She's usually awake by 8

My kids tend to wake me up in the morning. LOL If I happen to be the first up all I have to do is call there names and they are right up.

My youngest(2) I dont wake her up unless I have to go somewhere first thing in the am,she'll sleep till 9am.

My son is 4 years old and goes to Kindergarten. In the morning I will tell him to wake up and go to toilet. He says I am feeling sleepy, and then he says he will go late to school and then telling for 2-3 times he wakes up.

My kids usually need to be called a couple times before they get up for school. It seems like they hav no trouble getting up early on their own on the weekeneds. My son has been getting harder and harder to wake up lately. Luckily he is still small enough that I can pick him up out of bed, lol.
