spiritual advisor told me not to eat meat because i was recently diagnosed with a cyst growth in my ovary. there were some problems with my uterus too, which makes me so sad that i might not have a baby in the future. :( so for now, i would be having problems with my menu. what do you think are the stuff that i can eat besides meat? i know fish and seafood but i don't know how to cook them up into something delicious,,, and worth it so i could forget eating meat. you can give me recipes, or link up some sites. please. i'm desperate. thanks.

I am sorry to hear that. Do you like Tofu? Or the dishes cooked by beancurd? I know that in Chinese dishes akind of dishes called Suzhai. This kind of dishes are all cooked by no meat, but some taste like meat. If you really want to eat meat, please try them.

suzhai is a kind of cuisine (cooking system). It has a long history. It is the meals that cooked for Chinese monk, nun and people like them, who never eat meat. it is said that suzhai is the people who want to thank the monk or nun, and invitating them for a meal. they cook can make the dishes taste like the real meat taste, but it really has no meat in it. here is a net, but it is in Chinese. http://keko.chihe.sohu.com/tab/tab_171.html if there is anything i can do for you, please tell me.

what??? sorry but i have four children and i have never heard a obgyne telling to rely on faith healing. why not go and find a second opinion and a third one. on a different hospital. well just a suggestion. it is okay to eat a diet with no meat but it is still important to know what is really going with your health. goodluck

thanks for the response and i'd definitely look into that page. :) i got to see my obgyne before that and because i am too young to be diagnosed with so many stuff... and those stuff are really for women on their 40s... and i'm only 20... so she told me to go see a faith healer... it's kind of depressing but i am sticking to both what my obgyne and the faith healer is gonna tell me. :) thanks again and happy MyLotting :)

uh, you know my obgyne's husband is a preacher... haha... well, that explains it :) she wanted me to take medications for the next 3 months and by then, i'll be taking another ultrasound to confirm it. well, my prayers will go to the intention of letting it disappear for january :) and by then, if she tells me that i should resort to hysterectomy or some sort of operation, i'd probably get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. :) thanks for the response again :)

i've been eating fish and veggies. i have tried the veggie meats they sell in food courts and they're good. :) i love vegetables and i've been drinking milk ever since i was a kid, never really hated it :) i guess that's one of the best things about not eating meat... i'd be able to explore more on the veggie side and yes, particularly get to lose some weight :) thanks for the response and happy MyLotting :)
