it is safe when you are really tired and when you want to sleep for a long time and take a long rest. however, you should be careful with the amount of spills pills you consume. Taking too many at one go may lead to a catastrophical scenario. Also taking sleeping pills in slow amounts on a regular basis too is harmful and is a cumulative poison. but, taking one once in a while gives u a good sleep and good rest for your body.

I was given sleeping pills by the doctor but I think it was a mild one. I said it because the pills did not have any effects on me. I was hospitalized several years ago because I was undergoing an operation on my stomach. The nurse told me to go to sleep and she looked puzzled why I was not sleepy at all. But the minute I closed my eyes I slept on an instant. The next morning when I woke up I felt fresh and energetic. I don't know what type of sleeping pill the nurse gave me but if it can make me wake up being fresh, I would take it if it has no side effects.

Itis definitely wise to seek advice from a Doctor about taking sleeping pills but I have always avoided them myself. To my knowledge, even though sleeping pills will knock you out in a sense, they do not really allow the body to drift into the beneficial REM level of sleep so may not be of long term benefit at all. In my opinion it is always wiser to seek natural alternatives rather than prescription pills but definitely speak to a Doctor!

I haven't been taking sleeping pills for years; but I remember that the effects weren't good. I often woke up groggy. And if you really feel you need to, it's better to get the advice of a doctor. Sleeping aids like this aren't good for our health.

No, I haven't try even once. But in the case of drinking coffee or cola, It won't bother me. I still can sleep when I laid down.
