Should everyone have a "bucket list?'

Over the weekend I had a chance to rent the movie called "The Bucket List," starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. It was funny and touching and I cried like a baby. Not because of the movie itself, but because of the things it made me think about. I have a lot of things I want to do before I die. I guess we all do. But it was sad to realize that some things I may never get to do for a number of reasons. I know that it is most important to do all that you can in the time that you have, but sometimes it does not seem like enough. Am I the only one who feels this way? And is that selfish of me to want frivolous things like travel to exotic places?

I don't think that it is selfish to want to travel. I think that everybody has things like that that they would like to do for themselves. You can still enjoy what you DO have and still have things that you would LIKE to do if possible. :) Good luck! :)

I loved that movie and like you I cried because of the movie and because I too know that there are things I would love to do before I die (and the things I would love to do but without money some things are not possible). I've never actually sat down and made a list, I guess because it would make me feel regret for things I didn't get done, I'm trying to keep the mindset that the things I have done were as special and important as the things I may never get to do. I don't think it's frivolous to want to travel to exotic places, everyone needs to dream...that's why I keep dreaming that one day I'll win the lottery. =)

I loved this movie. It makes you think about all of the things you would like to accomplish during your life and getting to accomplish them while you are healthy and of a sound mind is just a blessing. I think everyone should design a "bucket list" and work on it. Things that may be importnant to one may be frivolous to another but I say go for it!
