McCain Is a Hero...

Senator McCain is indusputably a war hero, but even war heros can and should be fact-checked. Webb's GI Bill--McCain opposed and was AWOL when it was time to vote on May 22nd. In September 2007 he voted against a Webb Bill that would have mandated adequate rest for troops between combat deployments. For fiscal year 2007, a much needed $1.5 billion increase for veteran's medical services to be funded through closing cooperate loopholes, McCain voted NO--he also voted against establishing a trust fund to bolster under-budgeted veterans hospitals. In 2006 he voted against a $20 Billion allotment for expansion of swamped medical facilities. In April 2006 he was one of 13 Senate Republicans who voted against an amendment to provide $430 Million for Veteran's outpatient care. What more do people want? This is a very, very important issue--OUT VETS!! A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his or her life wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount up to and including their life, That's HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it! Do you understand and appreciate what they are doing? Share this so we never forget! IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS, FEEL FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM! ~G~

Yes Mccain is a hero and should be hounoured by everyone even if your not going to vote for him. But I am voting for mccain because I feel that hes the right choice for this election. I really dont like obama since I know he will raise our taxes so high which we cant afford to pay more taxes. So thats pretty much why I want mccain to win since he plans to lower our taxes.
