Each person have thier own way of choosing friends.It is according to thier character they choose friends. If all your friends are criminals you have to have some relation with criminal, may be you are a criminal or some other relation.
Think of a boy that have been all naughty for a long time he decide to change his atittude, but if his friends are bad he will not be able to change.
Be very carefull about selecting friends and try to understand difference between the people you hang out with and the people who are your best friends.

Each individual choose their friends according to their preferences. If that person is simple, for sure he or she will choose simple friends as the saying goes "Birds of the same feathers, flocks together."You can also tell what kind of person he or she is by observing his or her friends. You are right in saying that your friend is your reflection.

All of people like to choose friends with the same interest and habits. Usually friends stay together and share things that they like.
Occasionally, some people make friends with their own. they hope to benefit from friends. for example, extroverts stay with introverts for long time, and became to think.
I think that good friends not only share your happiness and pains but also improve you.
