Does anyone write articles?

I recently registered for a site to write articles for money. Has anyone else tried this? I have been told it can be very lucrative. Are there more sites available to do this?

The only site I could see on your blog is a review site. I have written reviews in the past, but I have not done any recently. I don't buy or use enough products or services to earn money from reviewing. I have earned over $300 from writing articles in the past few months, and with the new payment system at Helium, my monthly earnings are now going to be even better. My new blog has made me a few dollars so far, and I am going to focus on blogging and article writing from now on.

Yes, I've been writing articles at Ciao and requested two payments. I hope they actually pay. I'm talking about Associated Content or other sites like that. This Helium place, is this a place to write articles for money as well? If so, have you actually received payment from them? I am always a little leary about sites being a scam. Is it Helium dot com? Thanks for the response.

Some writers don't like Helium because it's competitive, and occasional writers will not earn money there, but many of us love Helium and have found it really useful for improving writing skills and entering the freelance market. Helium has been paying writers for two years. I have been paid 4 times already. Helium writers can win money in free writing contests. When a writer has one rating star they earn revenue share from page views. Members with writing stars now get upfront payments for each new article.
